The Story of God/A Soldier of War

                                                          GOD

Have you ever really thought about God?
I repeat. Have you ever really thought about God?
I mean, have you ever really thought about who he is?
Where does he go when he is lonely? What does he do when he is sad?
Whom does he meet with to share a moment of joy?
Where does he go? Where has he been?
What size is his shoe? Who are his kin?
Suppose I told you that God was here.
He was doing a tour of duty.
Would you rush out to greet him?
Or would you hide in your sin?
To be Adam man on the Eve of Armaggeddon
Is to be a Damned man on the doorstep of time
And of creation itself.

The mystery of God has never been told. His face has never been seen. You have been told that he lives in a heaven but no one has ever been there. When he is thought of, it is as one who is loving, terrifying, jealous, wrathful and one to be feared. He is all that, yet none of those things. Some of you believe that Jesus Christ is the Great God that started it all. Only Jesus has not only been seen, he lived amongst us. He also said that I am not the father but the son. It will be someday very soon now that Jesus Christ will be God and not because he inherited the position but for the great and heroic deeds that he himself did and you are clearly not aware of.

God is everything you ever hoped for but nothing you could ever imagine.

I will tell you the story with as few descriptive passages as possible. For your part of this truth is inside of all of you and I could not do your part justice. I will mostly just give you the words spoken in real time as events happened.
I will also give you a few insights into a great family and the true sight of their personality which is as diverse and complicated as it is beautiful.
This is the story of God.

A SOLDIER OF WAR
(The First Hour)
There Is This War On Urantia

Let me tell you how it all began more than forty nine-thousand years ago, on this swirling mass of human existence called earth as it is known today. It all began with a hail from a planet than known as Urantia. (Or the Experiment)

They relayed the hail to the general in charge of that sector and he informed those who had gathered that enormous day. For that day, all things would begin to change. His name is Adjunct General Joshua.
The general rose and stood as brilliant a being you could ever imagine, yet he was just the beginning . . . “We have just received word that a war has erupted on Urantia. This, as you all know, was to be the bridge between those who support Dragoona, those who support the ancients of old and those who want an independent Jehovah regime. These amalgamated races have not united as we had anticipated. Even the lost races are doomed to repeat their transgression. It is I believe, that the great experiment is over. We should also consider ceasing Dragoona access to Urantia til we sort through these turbulent times and find the roots of the upheaval in Urantian society.”

And how do you propose we do that general. This body speaks with moral persuasion. We do not tell anyone to do anything. We demonstrate their ways to be in error and then use our various means to guide them in that direction. And what if Dragoona rejects us completely. Have you thought of that?” Asked Lord Fine of the Iniquitian High Council.

General Joshua rose again and said, “General Lupien, I would be interested in what you as Chief of Staff of the Great Centurian fighting force has to say. Do you think that the best we could offer is moral persuasion to Dragoona?”

General Lupien, a general of considerable experience who had the respect of his soldiers, pondered the question and measured his response. “No, that is not all we can do. However to do more would risk war and war at a time when most of you have no effective fighting forces. It would leave the war colony and the Legionaries to interdict on your behalf leaving both forces highly vulnerable to attack and too far apart to assist each other in an emergency. We should assume that if we act now, Dragoona could and would target one of us and probably already has.”

Are you suggesting, General Lupien that Dragoona is planning to disband the treaty we have signed and attack without provocation?” A shocked Lord Fine asked.

An uneasy energy passed among the group. “I disclose that we to target weak points of strategic values and I believe Dragoona could do anything. He is a brilliant battlefield architect. If he sees an opening in an escalating tension. He will take advantage, of that we are certain.”

Utter nonsense. Dragoona is no more prepared for DIRECT CONFRONTATION WITH US THEN WE ARE WITH THEM” A Voice from an old ancient echoed from across the expansive table that served as the committee war room. Which sole purpose now was for strategic planning, and mostly mundane things. Routine things. Much like much of the generalship had become, routine, closed and not willing to take risks. Warnings were often not heeded. This was the seat of all power. The United Assembly of Ancients had a hand in creating much of all that was and would be. It was believed Dragoona would not risk a confrontation with them after all, he was one of them. He was more ambitious than they, but hardly a threat to them. Ironically, the ancient whose profound and scolding statement that was just heard, was named Destiny. A member of the tribunal who had immense influence. He was also an original founding member of the Centurian race. He examined General Lupien closely. “General Lupien, is it your opinion that your Centurians under your command are now not ready to meet aggression if it comes from a Dragoonian force? “

Eminence. I think the readiness of the Centurian War Colony is not the issue. As you know we have remained at alert status since the tribal hostilities have erupted. The point is that no matter what our state of preparedness is, if we begin to be pulled in many directions we cannot maintain our strength. If we were then attacked at a vulnerable point, we will suffer casualties at the very least. As I have already stated there is no affective fighting force between the Centurian War Colony and the Legionnaires, at least none that could defend against an invasion from Dragoona. And I have been requesting permission to expand the fighting force to meet those challenges.”

The request for the increase in the fighting force was not addressed.

Father Iniquity, father of all Iniquitians, which were mainly an orphan civilization and founder of the Legionnaires, listened intently, surveying the positions of those at the table. Father Iniquity had few peers and held the respect and admiration of all. He would have a mission of indescribable horrors as he fought to save his son. He was a mediator who believed that when the velvet glove was rejected the iron fist would be presented. His domain, held twenty-nine planetary life stations, of various sizes in mass and purpose. They were bound together by seven solar stars in three dimensions of space.

Trinity, an influential member of the council, who rarely spoke to the council, relayed both her mates and her troubling concerns. “Gentle beings. Has anyone from this council approached Lord Dragoona on these matters?”

He has not responded to several lower level requests for his kind to meet our kind.” Answered Lord Fine.

Have we tried to contact him directly?”

We have made no attempts?”

Pay no mind mother. I would know if trouble was afoot “ Iniquity whispered assuredly. Trinity was the mother of the race and it would be her children that would make up the front line of any war.

Lucas, what have you heard?” Trinity familiarly asked the most supreme being at the gathering, like a mother worried for child and needing reassurance from an old friend. They had known each other so long neither knew precisely how long.

King Lucas did not waste words. He was funny, generous, kind and perfect in any way. Still, some unknown presence also drove him. Some said it was his energy, others his work, but whatever it was there was something odd about him. He would look and not see . It was as if he were listening to thousands of voices at once.

Trinity so far there is but a skirmish on Urantia. If it becomes more then that we will deal with that. Do not be concerned.”
