THE SOLAR STORM and Chinese New Year

The solar storm last night happened on the Chinese New Year which happened to be the year of the dragon for them. They also predicted major upheavel on earth beginning in 2012, (4010 in their calender), which includes solar storms. Oddly enough it happened in their new year. The Mayans calender stops on December 12, 2012 and their is plenty of fear that this is the end and for the Mayans their end came around 1697A.D. when Spanish arrived in South America. Their civilization began around 2010B.C. but their is considerable debate on those numbers by scholars. No one knows for sure what happened to them, only their magnificant cities were found abandoned. Disease is expected to be the cause, (small pox) primarily but again it would be astonishing that everyone perished with little sign of the dead. The Mayans were an advanced civilization in some ways but most of their records were destroyed by the Spanish invaders mostly based on religious grounds. It is funny how truth is changed by the winners who end up losing everything.

Their are many theories as to why things happen and truth is changed so going to throw one more into the ring. What if storms, major changes which happen like wars, is the anger of the wronged. What if you become what you hate and your fate is the same?

Sleep tight.

THE NUMBERS ARE STUNNING

In the search for knowledge the numbers of various groups following their truths is staggering.

Judaism, Christianity and Islam are three closely related religions. Because they all revere Abraham and certain other patriarchs mentioned in the Hebrew Scriptures (the Torah), Christian Scriptures (Old and New Testaments) and Qur'an as their spiritual ancestors, they are sometimes called Abrahamic religions. About 33% of the world follow Christianity while 23% follow Islam.

Ontario Consultants on Religious tolerance has listed 40 religions with 75% content on Chrisitianity.

The Ontario Consultants on Religious Tolerance have also listed 15 non-theistic beliefs, ethical groups, philospohies, spiritual paths, ect.

There are on the order of 1,200 Christian organizations in North America, and over 30,000 in the world.

According to David Barrett et al, editors of the "World Christian Encyclopedia: A comparative survey of churches and religions - AD 30 to 2200," there are 34,000 separate Christian groups in the world AND that is just the Christian groups and they all don't believe the same thing which is why churches break apart. ie. Catholics, Protestants, Restorationists, Anglicans, Pentecostals ect. Most believe they are the true Christian Religion even though within their own groups they disagree.

Parallel Commentaries and Translations on the Description of God

His face has never been seen as translated in the following bibles and passages. The Barnes and Noble commentary states "No man hath seen God at any time - This declaration is probably made to show the superiority of the revelation of Jesus above that of any previous dispensation. It is said, therefore, that Jesus "had an intimate knowledge of God," which neither Moses nor any of the ancient prophets had possessed. God is invisible: no human eyes have seen him; but Christ had a knowledge of God which might be expressed to our apprehension by saying that he saw him. He knew him intimately and completely, and was therefore fitted to make a fuller manifestation of him."

CAN YOU NAME THE FIRST US PRESIDENT

If you were to say George Washington you would not even be close. He was not even the first elected president. Knowledge is funny like that if you don't have all the facts you just might skew the truth so bad you invent your own to suit your own facts. Below is a list of who actually were the men before Washington to be president.

EVERYBODYS GOT A POINT OF VIEW BUT HOW DID THEY GET IT?

Every one has an idea of what is right or wrong and they justify and defend that idea because it is something they settled on. It is in that justification that some ideas get warped, twisted until they are unrecognizable from its original intent. Now imagine if you are interpreting the will of man, the voter, a nation or even God, the damage you could do. Perhaps Teddy Roosevelt said it best when he said to "walk softly but carry a big stick." The key to knowledge is to listen and understand the other guy first, respect his view and if it is as terribly flawed nudge him to an understanding that he might not be completely right in his thinking and if he is not completely right then he must be wrong in some of his thoughts. Of course you will find the guy who will only say he read it and it is Gods will or the law or some such nonsense, I think that is why Teddy Roosevelt recommended carrying a big stick.

I hope you enjoy the following view point.
