Let us have a contest to see what are the top ten leaves on the top stupid tree branch and how about using the following observations as the guide.

 

 

How do your change your spiritual orientation any more than you can change your colour or your race. They all are ingrained and make up who you are. It shapes your moral values. It is your moral compass and an enormous amount of your conscience. So why is it that bill 60 is such an emergency suddenly and to only one group of people? The constituents were not even aware of it’s necessity until its proposal. 

 

 

This idea that by removing religion from a political argument will somehow clean the issues is absurd. How can someone separate their life long experience which shapes moral and ethical behavior and may have been as a result of their religious upbringing. It is not possible. The idea that someone will become enlightened for example on birth control, abortion or assisted suicide because religion is restricted in government offices is absurd. 

The Enemy Within

PART THREE

 

Quebec wants to destroy multiculturalism because that would weaken the Canadian nation and what do they hate more than anything. Canada. They are still fighting a war that has been over for over two hundred years. The PQ introduced the language laws to protect French and they sell that message to the lowest common denominator but they mascaraed as the solution by saying they are doing it for one reason when they really are doing it is for the destruction of Quebec in Canada.  

Why are there not the levels of violence in canada as other countries because they do not feel threatened and do not feel the need to fight. 

 

We enjoy each others heritage we don’t look to the outside world for their opinion on how we should treat people the outside world has abused. 

 

Canada has been a trusted friend for all nations. We do not interfere in other nations. We have taken our place to stop ethnic cleansing in places like Bosnia. We have walked between warring nations in Cyprus between the Greeks and the Turks. The middle east, Vietnam to name only a few countless times with no agenda other than to stop the fighting with nothing but a blue hat and a good idea. That is why we were trusted. 

 

Ignorance breeds oppression. It created slavery, the class system, political and economic divide, apartheid, and now bill 60.it means we have something to fear from them and who is the them we are afraid of, it is generally us on the other side of the fence looking back wondering why we are doing what we are doing.

 

All paths are paths to god. If he wants you to be a Christian let him be a Christian. If he wants you to be a Muslim let him be a Muslim a Jew, Hindu, Sikh...\

 

What is the motivation behind this and who are the people proposing it?

It is ironic at best that the people behind this call it a charter of values while dissing and trying to remove all semblances of faith. I wonder how many people would actually be in favour of this if they were aware that what was being attacked was not somebody elses faith  in some other place but here and their own. What is the actual value of the charter they are proposing and why are they proposing it at all when it was not an issue before?

 

This idea of secular society comes up at least once every century. Where faith has no place in the common area of society. And it is objectionable to someone. That means in lay terms that once you join public service you cannot make a judgment based on your personal life experiences. How immature in thought can they be? The purpose of hiring people is that everyone who wakes up in the morning and has a life experience which shapes the way they are and that comes forth in character and is ultimately the reason you hire them in the first place and not because they believe or not in anything. By the way the last time a government tried to enforce secularism we the west called it communism. That was we the west had a problem with them. History does not have to repeat itself but it is up to all of us to stop this cycle of blame and the feeling of superiority that by our actions we are freeing the slaves. You don’t free anyone by creating another type of slave.

 

History repeats itself over and over again and will continue to unless we remember the lessons we learned in kindergarten. For those who attended that year I will remind you. We learned to get along. To hold hands when crossing the street and look our for each other. We ate cookies and milk and then we had a nap together. I am lucky I suppose because I live in north western Ontario where our neighbour who is Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Christian, Atheist, French, English, Italian, Polish, Hindi, Japanese, Chinese, Finnish, Norwegian Russian, Communist, is our friend and we enjoy each others company and culture. Do we argue politics of course we argue politics. Do we have differences of opinion of course we have differences of opinion. We come from different places with different experiences but we are here together. We rely on each other and respect each other that is a given. Your history and life experiences of all our neighbours is a treasure of incredible wealth. When we come together we call it Canadian.

 

 

 

 

It has been said that Canada does not have an identity.  Of course we do not have a single identity because we are not seen as limited as one thing. We are not subservient to a limited ideal of what it means to be a citizen. We give respect to differences and try to see the others point. We do not argue that our way is the only way. Canada has an identity. It is the identity for all to see themselves at peace at last. It is a promised land fulfilled. 

 

How do you create a situation. So what are we going to do. We have no idea how to govern so we will turn neighbour against neighbour and create a situation that does not exist. George Bush did the same thing and said he was defending the nation. Then he imposed severe restrictions on that nations citizens which only years after he left they are awakening to what he really did and they do not like it. 

 

You should be wary when a government tells you they know what is right for you and give you a pretense that you are in some way being informed and consulted and your ideas matter. But if I were to tell you only a portion of the entire truth I know I would be lying to you. I would be deceiving you by omission of facts. I would be leading you to a conclusion that you would not come to under any other circumstance.

 

That is what is being proposed. By taking away your constitutional right to freedom of religion which includes freedom of expression they will be rescuing the populace from some unseen threat. It is unseen because it does not exist. 

 

Apparently sixty percent of Quebecers are in favour of bill 60. The government has told them there is an issue and something has to be done about it now before it is too late and they are the ones to get it done. They are the ones that are going to protect you from this fate. They represent the bastions of truth. They are the liberators. I wonder if those same sixty percent would still be in favour of Bill 60 if they knew it was the same issue which resulted in communism. The removal of faith from all government because who could trust faith. All they have done is changed the name from communism to secularism. And they would no longer have the right to full religious freedom. 

 

Remember communism were not oppressors in the beginning they were defenders of a new world order to abolish church and make all things the same. History will tell you that did not work out so good for them. It took decades but those self imposed walls fell. 

 

1. Clothing is subjective. When you are a pre school child you don’t care what you wear . You don’t care if you have clothes at all. You haven’t been taught that is taboo in some circles. When you are young you want to look like everybody else. You want to fit in which means you do not want to look different from everybody else. This is what the government is proposing that everyone look and be the same. As you become an adult you conform to business and society roles. If you are a man you wear a suit and a tie, a uniform, collar, and dress for your job. When you retire you conform to the role you are now in and look the part. You are suppose to be wiser, wealthier and have a whole lot of time on your hands. Then every once in a while you wake up from your lot and think what has this all been about. You mature and realize that it has all been just a game and one day you decide to quit playing and start looking for that freedom lost. You dress how you want, you do what you want and you don’t care what anybody thinks about any of it cause after the noise of life has subsided you have remembered what it was like to be a child. Innocent.  

The Quebec Issue and Bill 60

Now that my Olympic hangover is over and the snow has stopped for a time, I think it is time to get back in the game. The side I have chosen to be on in this case is Support Another which I have found as an outsider to embody everything I have loved about being a Canadian. This site has demonstrated not only religious tolerance but acceptance of other religions and cultures and languages and I support it. It is true that I am an outsider. Like I have stated before, I am a white Scandinavian, english speaking man in my sixties who lives in North Western Ontario. My area is as diverse as there is anywhere with about twenty percent having a mother tongue in French, sixty five percent in English and the rest Finnish, Norwegian, Hindi, Chinese, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Ukrainian, Iranian, Russian and Romanian. Did anyone see what I missed? You should have been shouting. It is the same the Quebec Charter has decided to dismiss as unimportant and not traditional to Quebec. I did not mention the twenty percent of First Nations people that make up Northwestern Ontario nor did I mention that about five percent of the population speaks only their language. Have you ever seen a first nations woman in traditional dress? They look like they are wearing the hijab. That is the original tradition of Quebec. It is true they were beaten to become Catholic and discard their own ways but they refused to dress like a white to this day.

The french who live around here mostly came from Quebec but left during the Union Nationale Government of the fifties and sixties when the nationalist movement began to grab power. What they saw in Quebec they did not like and that was a small group of entitled Quebecer who were wealthy, young and mostly educated in France began to take power. In that group was created the FLQ. A small but widely supported group of terrorists who actually held the country hostage until then Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau put an end to that.

My fellow North Western Ontario neighbors who left Quebec in the late fifties and sixties because they began to see the change in Quebec society. And what they saw was a rise in the entitled young of the time who were trying to rewrite history and vowed to separate Quebec from Canada. Now to do that they needed to remove certain elements of society even though they had been there as long as they had. Target groups were the Italians and Irish. Now the question is why the Italians and Irish? They were white, catholic and very western so what could possibly be the problem. They even wanted to assimilate into French Quebec culture. It seemed like a win win but they were not welcome in some circles and were even not allowed to enroll their children in French schools. Does anyone know what their crime would be? Well it is like this. They were seen to be federalist and not a group who could be convinced to vote for separation even though on occasion they strongly voted for the Union Nationale. Their pedigree also was not french. In the late sixties and seventies it became anyone who spoke English became a target with bill 101 resulting in the erosion of Quebec multi cultural society and Montreal in particular as a second rate city from one of the worlds great cities which it was in the mid seventies.

They also became fed up with this idea that some in the separatist movement that only Francophone Quebecers are “pure lain” (pure wool...ie. Real Quebecers) The result of that absurdity was that families even though they had lived their for over two hundred years still were not considered equal to a Francophone family if their linage was not french and white. Just ask a Haitian if they feel equal in Francophone Quebec if they were in a service industry like being a taxi driver. Calls would come in asking for a “un bon chauffeur” (a good driver) which meant the caller was asking for a white driver and it was acceptable to do that. There is an underlying racism of all things not french in some parts of Quebec which has become very common place as was evident in the Drainville committee and the testimony of Genevieve Caron who was disturbed when in Morocco by people wearing these disguises, taking off their shoes when they entered a Mosque and praying on all fours. You have seen this type of institutional racism in places like Herouxville with their Standards resolution in 2007 for new arrivals with a similar declaration in the City of Gatineau.

In a recent survey almost half of all english speaking Quebecers and about eleven percent of Francophone Quebecers want to leave or have thought about leaving Quebec in the last year. I ask this question with all sincerity. With all that is wrong in Quebec why is there not a public inquiry to discover what to do about this real issue rather than pander to this bill 60. Even former premier P.Q. Jacques Parizeau has said that for the first time in thirty years he is worried about the economy and that should be the issue. Are they listening? No they are not. Are they interested in creating a secular society only to ensure the freedom and security of everyone. Clearly not. How many Muslim women feel threatened by people around them because they are wearing a hijab? And finally on this rant when will the traditional Quebecer begin to actually listen to the first nations people who actually were the traditional peoples of what is now Quebec? We all know the answer. Never because it is not about security or traditional values it is the pandering and the manipulation of the lowest common denominator in society for political gain. In this case the separation of Quebec from Canada. And the only way to do that is to stir up so much hate and distrust they can get their support because they will attempt to convince the populace that only in an independent Quebec can their security be guaranteed.

I put to you that the issue has little to do with the hijab but because you are not seen as true Quebecers. You are not pure lain. Just like the Jews, Italians, Irish, Hindus and Haitians before you. You are not seen as being on their team. You are seen as a federalist.

Is this a hard line? Yes it is. Is this the truth? Yes it is. Please verify all my assertions. History does not lie. What can be done about it? You must form or join a unified political alliance that does not bend to even negotiate a watered down version of this bill. This bill proposal must be defeated period. If the Quebec Liberals do not take that stand,(I am a card carrying liberal by the way) join the NDP if they do or any other party to defeat this bill. Your vote carries weight and must be used to defeat the PQ in the upcoming provincial election and by the efforts of Support Another in raising this issue. Anything anyone suggests I should be doing please feel free to suggest, comment, debate and otherwise. I will welcome it.

Top Ten List on the Stupid Tree

Hi everyone. I have heard a lot of stupid ideas from public figures about how to improve our free society and this current issue that is in front of us got me to thinking how else could you highlight how ludicrous this idea is so I came up with a top ten of stupid ideas. I call it the “Ignorance is not Bliss” top ten list on the Stupid Tree

 

I ask one question to debate. Do you see a pattern in peoples perception of the world around them and a common thread to all of the following examples? I will give you my observation at the end. Have a good read.

 

10.Charles P Worthy who said, “Put them behind an electrified fence around gay people as a solution to the gay population.” That will save us from them and cure the problem because they can’t have children and have a strong constituency listen and believe it. That logic is the lowest part of the stupid tree and there is one born every minute. (Lol) I’m sorry, I couldn’t resist.

 

9. Bill 101 which makes French a protected language in Quebec and requires French words to replace English and other language words like Pasta because they are a threat to Quebec French. Result: Former President Bush decided to stop calling “French Fries” what they are and demanded they be called “Freedom Fries”. Yes it will be argued to fight the war on terror but how did that go for him?

 

8. Those blasted old people are costing us too much money so let’s not let them retire till they are 70. Reason: they are living too long. They forget that they are the reason you are living at all.

 

7.There is no such thing as climate change. It is all just some facts of the educated. Yup they got me there because I happen to agree. (on the educated part) lol

 

 

6. Industry Minister James Moore has apologized for saying it's not the federal government's role to ensure hungry children are fed. What he said was, "Is it the government's job — my job to feed my neighbour's child? I don't think so," Considering the evidence against not feeding hungry children especially before school is too ludicrous and pathetic to debate. In order to learn you need fuel and you don’t need to be centered out in order to eat.

 

5. Cut social spending and stop giving handouts to the poor. They are the problem and the reason for the deficit. Tell them to get a job. People say that when they are deflecting from where the real money has been wasted. When was the last time you ever heard of a politician refuse a raise or to reduce their inflated pensions after only five plus years? Shall we talk about the Senate or the lobbyists or government grants for absolutely no return. Nah. You get the idea and that list is too long to refute. 

 

4.Opposition argument to gun control. Guns don’t kill people, people kill people. This could have been number one but it was beat out by the other three. I have never heard of a gun getting up in the morning and deciding to shoot someone is true but in most cases the person did get up in the morning and load a gun. It is true that people will still kill each other but history has shown that the volume is way down cause it takes a lot more commitment and personal risk is greater when you have to stand eye ball to eye ball with the person you wish to kill. There are some nations where even the police do not carry a gun and look at their stats. (Like Norway. Whoops did I name drop? Yes I did. Hint hint.)

 

3. We are lowering taxes for the rich because they create the jobs. Actually the real statistics show it is the poor who spends one hundred percent of their income to survive and the lower and middle class who really creates jobs threw supply and demand. The rich spend a minor portion of their income each year to survive.

 

2. Keep foreigners out. They are taking all the good jobs and the refugees are getting more than the average Canadian on social assistance or even a pensioner. The truth is very different. If you believe that check out the real truth on that one. http://ccrweb.ca/en/refugees-and-income-assistance-rebutting-chain-email-pensioners-myth Resulting in anybody that is different is under a threat to be attacked. A terminal truth is that People fear change and hold on to the past regardless of if they agreed with it or not because it is safer to do so. The old adage, better the devil you know then the devil you don’t. Only through education will ignorance be defeated. 

 

And the number one position on the stupidest thing on the “Ignorance is not Bliss” top ten list is. Drum roll please..

 

1. We have to protect western society from the hijab and Bill 60 and the idea that the involvement of people foreign to Quebec is somehow a threat to western civilization which includes overt religious symbols except of course if it is Protected Heritage. Every time I hear that I think, “When did anyone ask the first nations people what they thought of that?” It is the land that was taken from them after all. Are they complaining? Nope. 

 

You know George Orwell summed it up best in his book animal farm when the animals wanted to create a more perfect society and ended up with the phrase, All pigs are created equal but some pigs are more equal than others. It is time to change these truths and cut down that stupid tree. Have a great week everyone. Keep up the fight.

 

 

 

Why Now and Bill 60

Why Now? Part Three

 

The PQ is not your friend. It’s purpose today is not about protecting civil liberties of Quebecers it is about power and blind ambition. 

 

To understand what is going on you first have to know the motivation behind the action. Just like any reporter. You must know what the motivation is of the article you are reading before saying that or this if fact. People must educate themselves in this information society. 

 

Now the motivation behind the hard core PQ is the separation of Quebec from Canada. It began in earnest after a Charles De Gaulle with the “Vive Le Quebec Libre” speech in Quebec on July 24, 1967 during an official state visit during Expo ‘67 which was suppose to be honoring Canadas one hundred years of nationhood since Confederation. (For those who do not remember Charles De Gaulle, he was the President of France and had ruled since the end of World War Two.This was an act of extreme disrespect as it was Canada who landed on Juno Beach on D-day and helped free France from Nazi occupation and install De Gaulle as president.) 

 

The PQ’s plan is the same one from day one. To never stop working for the separation of Quebec within Canada. They have lost two referendum and say if they win one by one vote they will consider that as a vote of confidence in their platform and will proceed to total separation no matter what the rest of Canada says. So what have they done since the last referendum. They created more severe language amendments and convinced the French Canadian that their language was at risk in this English Sea of North America. Now again this was accepted and obliged by the rest of Canada, I admit sometimes it took some swallowing to get it down especially since this was after entire nation had become bilingual and French was a national protected official language.

 

 As a result they have threatened to fine ethnic businesses who have english signs or signs that are not in french even though words like “Pasta” are world wide. That is of course except in Quebec. Why would they do that? It is not because they are threatened by drowning in an english world, it is a plan that is always two fold. One to dismantle multiculturalism and really piss off the rest of Canada so they won’t be so loving during the next referendum. (What a great argument. You, in the rest of Canada, have to endure bilingualism but not here in Quebec. No sir. Our culture, that you silly people protected, wants you to have your noses rubbed in it till you quit being so nice. I say it like this to make a stark point.) The other is to drown all Quebecers into total isolation till they get their objective. To make a pure French society or maybe even race. It is a“cultural genocide.” The exact reason they use to manufacture all of their ideals and reasons for enacting this laws of separation. Let me use Ontario as an example. English is the de facto language but French has equal standing. In some smaller communities there is a back lash for having mandatory French services where there are few French speaking citizens when Quebec does not have the same requirement especially when PQ leaders flaunt that fact and say things like multi multiculturalism is dead in Canada. They do that because it rubs peoples noses in what they have struggled with since the `1970’s trying to accommodate Quebec. That is nasty.

 

Now the issue is to target a visible minority and say they are protecting them against oppression and by the way to the other constituency they are protecting them against the visible minority against an unseen threat. And the only way to do that is to highlight the differences in French Catholic culture and Muslim because the robe is an overt religious symbol to one constituency then say it may also be a threat because you never know what is under the robe. Let us be sensible about this. If I were a terrorist, I would look like everybody else like the hijackers at 911 looked. Like any bank robber with a hidden weapon looks. He looks like someone just trying to make a deposit and they know this. This has nothing to do with the garment for those reasons, they need you to submit to separation and why? Because you, multicultural Quebecers. did not vote for separation the last two times and even though you are citizens of Quebec and have been forever you are seen as not being French enough.  You can’t be different. 

 

Now these thoughts are at odds with the majority of citizens. You have a sixty percent soft approval rate but that number drops dramatically when you shine a light on the truth and it is the young 18-24 who are the most against this. The demographic most in favour are those who make $60.000 to $100,000 a year and are labourers and retired people which fit the category of people who have struggled to get where they are and are just trying to hang on to what they have. They are easy targets of influence and very difficult to dissuade once influenced.

 

I end part three with this summation. This is about a Government who is looking for a majority government that has no solutions for the real problems so they invent one to get their real platform to the front once again. The premier has stated this as a goal already.

The Numbers do not add up for Bill 60

It appears I have lost my debating partner so I am going to submit my response to challenges that were posed. First I will back up a bit. I am not Muslim. I do not live in Quebec. I am a sixty plus white, Norwegian-Finnish Scandinavian Canadian man who lives in North Western Ontario. I am not at all religious but I am deeply spiritual. I am a life long learner who thirsts for truth. I have been a patient advocate, crises social worker, free enterpriser who demands that government prove the are worthy to govern before I give them my allegiance. I do not just look at headlines I research who did the writing and what was their motivation. I will be submitting articles every two to three days on what I have discovered and what has been missed in the argument. I hope that what I have to say will be of service and will create a debate which will further the cause to defeat Bill 60. Please feel free to use any and all works in the articles as if they were your own. Also I recommend reading the submission by Professor Catherine Lu. I touched on it in the previous submission but these are the details.

First. My home base is Thunder Bay. Today I am in Terrace Bay a small town some 220km. away. I picked Terrace Bay to begin this series because it is half French and half English speaking. It is multi cultural in the purest form. This small town has 1800 residents who are Hindi, East Indian, Italian, Finnish, English, French, Chinese, Saudi and of course First Nations who have been entirely excluded once again from this dialogue and no one feels threatened by the other and that includes a very healthy French community that thrives here. There are Muslims, Christians(Catholics and Protestants), Jews and Hindi and Atheists. In the store windows there are French signs, English signs and Finnish signs. The average age is plus 45. The people are tough, independent northerns and the people you talk too just can’t see what the problem is in Quebec. So let’s get into it.

 

 

Some of the bloggers and commentators have bandied about numbers and different reasons for supporting Bill 60. 

 

The numbers that have been bandied about is that 85% of Muslim women who do not wear the garment somehow support this charter of values and support secularism. If that is true then there should be all kinds of testimony at the Drainville committee but so far I have not heard of one. Why is that? Could it be that they are quite comfortable and not at all threatened with the current state of affairs and do not need protection or rescuing from any threat from the veil and what it stands for in some parts of the world? Of course that is the reason so that argument is moot.

 

This proposed Charter of Values seems to have as it’s purpose an American ideal which has always been abhorred in Canada and that is to create a melting pot for immigrants and to absorb them into a white, christian society that begins not to have any clue of the outside world and to basically forget their roots unless of course they are white and christian. Oh I forgot not socialist in anyway and if you happened to be communist well forget about saying anything nice about your homeland. That could be a serious problems for you in some areas. Now that is absolutely not true in all areas with some people who equally abhor the melting pot but it is a majority which explains how they get so many things wrong in the world. It is not just the United States it is equally true of England and France as well. Now Canada is not a melting pot like the United States and it never has been which is why Quebec has been able to maintain its French culture in a sea of English North America. We do not pretend that we are a new race of people because we are not, we just want to get along with one another. Why because we are generally all immigrants. Either or mothers and fathers, grandparents, great grandparents or ourselves have been immigrants at one time or another. And why did our families come to Canada. To escape what is being proposed here. That you don’t really have the right to freedom of expression or of faith and if you do you are suspect and are now under threat. You see it already in Quebec. The vigilante mentality of a citizen doing their perceived patriotic duty to harass another citizen who just happens to be law biding. I can’t say this enough. History does not lie or stretch the truth so please check what I am saying if you have any doubt and challenge me. There was no Indian wars in Canada like there was in the United States because we at no time had a policy where we wanted them out for their land or because they weren’t something we were not. We made peace and offered them justice under our law equally as imperfect as it was. There were no Indian massacres in the same time in history that there were by immigrants just like us and just across the U.S. Canadian border which was a line in the sand and nothing more.The same deal they offered to Quebec. They accepted peace and the threat of all war ended and has been maintained to this day. Canada only became a nation when the threat from south of the border became real and they wanted us to become like them. Quebec is attempting the melting pot goal which is ironic at best since they have survived and thrived because the rest of Canada has fought against this path which resulted in their survival in the first place.

 

Now what can you say about a government that proposes and is steadfast in its determination to make this law? What can you say about a government that does not listen even to the most learned and respected leaders in its history that strongly disagree with this course of action? What can you say about a government that their own elites are so hostile to their own Catholic roots to say they are against all overt religious symbols but have the “Protected Heritage” statement to protect the cross in the national assembly. Is this only to appease the older voter like some commentators are suggesting? Of course it is. That is why they don’t mention that Bill 60 would also restrict their religion potentially and of course would mean that if they did not this secular argument is a lie as well.   

 

What you can say is that this is a search and destroy method used by many a military to confuse, demoralize and defeat an enemy. It is about misinformation and the attack comes when the other side says it is their message has been skewed and their people have been attacked. It is fear mongering to the lowest common denominator. And what is the lowest common denominator. It is your neighbor who didn’t even know there was an issue until he or she was told they may be under threat and should come forth and testify in some public hearing to justify the course of action they have already planned. So why have hearings at all? That is so it can be said you as a citizen participated in a democratic and free discussion. You see in this method you convince the regular folk that they are under threat of something they likely never even noticed before and is not any threat at all so they need someone to agree and testify that they felt a threat but in this political arena it is not the facts that count because truth it not the goal. The goal is winning an majority election so you can hear the other shoe to drop or in other words what this really has been about.  

 

The inference from Andre Drouin that the province must hurry to rid itself of secularism, or religious accommodation or face the perils of other countries is someone who has not learned from history. Canada is unlike any other nation on the face of the planet. It is the only nation who stood between two super powers during the cold war, took a tough stand with both, did not defend either border and was not attacked because it was not a threat. In fact it was Canada they called upon to settle their squabbles. It is not like there have not been Muslims, Sikhs, Hindus, Jews. tons of Christian Sects and the rest in Canada before. They have been here almost from the start right along with the communists, evolutionists and atheists and they have always gotten along when they could not in their own countries. This includes the Irish Catholics and the Protestant English that would rather shoot each other than look at each other in the UK but were fine neighbours here. There is a plethora of stories of german soldiers who were prisoners of war and stayed after the war and became neighbours and friends with the Jews their former nation was attempting to extinguish. The list goes on and on of former enemies that were no more once in Canada. The reason that happened the rule was you left your hate behind because here you are protected and free. Really free. Other nations have taken up the Canadian way and it has worked in every case.  

 

Beware of the people that try to put a wedge between law biding peaceful people. These are the hate mongers of society and the ones you should be wary of. They can’t be trusted. Their intentions are for their own ends. They are what they say they hate. There latest front is to get allies from the rest of Canada by suggesting people are fed up with multiculturalism. That would suit them fine when they attempt their final solution of destruction. Divide and conquer that is what they are attempting to do. So how do you defeat such a vicious threat of ignorance. The only weapons that you can use is non violence and reason. Mahatma Gandhi who had nothing but his will threw the British out of India after they threw him in prison, beat him, finally had to listen to him and told him in that battle for India the British had the greatest military in the history of man at that time and what did he have. He said “I have a good idea”. The British left India because of a good idea. Learn from history not revised history. The truth is what sets you free. Those who tell you a version of the truth or only a part of a truth is lying to you. They do not have your best interests at heart and are not your friend or ally. They cannot be trusted. 

 

Most people don’t have any clue what really is going on but do have a vague trust of any government in power until it pisses them off. It takes work to educate yourself and the vast majority of people are not life long learners as a result are prime for easy short term influence. You see it in Toronto where the mayor Rob Ford has about a thirty percent constituency even though he has vowed to be tough on crime and yet has a relationship with known mobsters, drug dealers who he calls friends and defends as straight up guys, been caught lying repeatedly, seen smoking crack cocaine and the rest of the story and he still has support because he makes people believe that he is working class stiff who just wants to lower taxes and what he now does in his private time is his business. There is an old adage that says you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time is false in my opinion because while it is true you can fool some of the people only some of the time you can fool the rest of the people all of the time. And that is how this game of divide and conquer works and anybody that plays it knows it.
